George Barris: An American designer and builder of Hollywood custom cars. Known throughout the world as the 'original' King of Kustomizers, his impressive catalog of cars built for TV include the original Batmobile, Green Hornet's Black Beauty, Beverly Hillbillies Truck, KITT from the Knight Rider, Munster Koach (Munsters), Monkeemobiles, and probably his most famous commissioned project, the Hirohata Merc. A chopped "lead sled" that started out as a 1951 Mercury Club Coupe.
