Check out these Atlantic Marsh Fiddler Crabs (Leptuca (formally Uca) pugilator) found near Fort Matanzas. The one large claw called the chela or chelea is a male appendage while female claws are at equal size. Fiddler crabs have four pairs of walking legs.

Reaching a potential height of around 47 inches and wingspan exceeding 78 inches, the Florida Sandhill Crane (Antigone canadensis) can be found along edges of bodies of water. Not hard to miss with the bald spot of red skin atop its head.
