Located along with the Museum of Greek Culture and upstairs from the New England Carousel Museum (and also included the carousel museum's admission price) is another interesting space dedicated to fire history and mainly fire equipment. While not a tremendous space, there are a lot of interesting artifacts populating the area. As a fire commissioner for 36 years, Carlyle Fuller "Hap" Barnes, along with ghis many other interests, collected antique fire memorabilia that evolved into the Museum of Fire History we are enjoying today. He also funded the museum.
