The balance of the images onthis place were taken in the Legacy Gallery located in Ford's Historic Rouge Factory.
The Rough factory was built on marchland ajactant the Rough river. Construction begsn in 1917.
First product out of the Rough factory was Eagle Boats for the U.S. Navy in 1918.
Fordson tractor and the Model A were both built in this historic factory.
The first V8, and later, the first Thunderbird were also built in the Rough.
Its legacy continues with the production Ford Mustang produced in 1965.
More to come as the latest vehicle to be produced in this history factory is the F-150 truck.
