A LANDSCAPE CHANGED FOREVER
Our hearts and prayers go out to the residents of Prince Edward Island. Timing is everything as the following pages of images were captured during our vacation trip to PEI just a week before tropical storm Fiona slammed into the island (September 23-24, 2022). And while we have seen via various newscasts what devastation a storm this size can do, especially knowing just a week before we were both standing in many of the spots being highlighted in the news, we are confident these resilient “Islanders” will put back the pieces in no time. We again wish Canada’s “Garden of the Gulf” a speedy recovery.
Note: High tide prevented me from photographing the iconic "Teacup Rock," and sadly I'll never be able to in the future as the landmark was taken by the storm.

Lobster is the crown jewel of the P.E.I. seafood industry and as a result, lobster traps are an abundant part of the landscape thoughout the island.
